Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own or relaxing at the hotel.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx After breakfast, we’ll start the day with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Marvel at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest of the pyramids, and learn about the history and architecture of these iconic structures. Next, we’ll visit the Sphinx, a massive limestone statue with the head of a human and the body of a lion. After lunch, we’ll continue our tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to an impressive collection of artifacts from ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Nile River Cruise and Luxor After breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for our flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, we’ll board a traditional felucca for a relaxing cruise along the Nile River. Enjoy the stunning views of Luxor’s skyline as we sail towards our next destination. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Temple of Karnak, a vast complex of temples and chapels that was the heart of the ancient Egyptian religion.

Day 4: Valley of the Kings and Queens Today, we’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, a royal burial ground for pharaohs and their consorts. Explore the tombs of Tutankhamun and other ancient rulers, adorned with intricate hieroglyphics and colorful paintings. Next, we’ll visit the Valley of the Queens, where the wives and children of pharaohs were buried. Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo After breakfast, we our journey southwards to the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Explore the well-preserved temple, which is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. After lunch, we’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique temple dedicated to two gods – Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god.

Day 6: Abu Simbel Today, we’ll embark on a long drive through the Nubian desert to reach the stunning temple complex of Abu Simbel. The complex includes two temples, the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Hathor, both of which are renowned for their impressive architecture and stunning artwork. We’ll spend the day exploring these temples and learning about their history and significance.

Day 7: Aswan After breakfast, we’ll drive back to Aswan and visit the High Dam, an impressive feat of modern engineering that has helped regulate the Nile River and provide electricity to Egypt. Next, we’ll visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, which was moved to its current location on Agilika Island after the construction of the High Dam. In the afternoon, we’ll take a relaxing boat ride on the Nile River and enjoy the scenic views of Aswan.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Aswan Airport for our flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to the hotel for some rest and relaxation. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore the city or do some last-minute shopping before your departure.
