DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN KIGALI, RWANDA
Arrive in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, and meet your Abercrombie & Kent representative who will transfer you to your hotel, The Retreat.
DAY 2 – GENOCIDE MEMORIAL & EXCLUSIVE CANOEING IN VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Kigali and visit the Genocide Memorial Site to learn about Rwanda’s past and its remarkable recovery. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before driving to Volcanoes National Park, home to about half of the world’s total wild population of endangered mountain gorillas. Later, canoe trip accompanied by an experienced guide down the Mukungwa River. Take in stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes, spot abundant birds and otters, and meet friendly locals along the way.
