DAY 3 ROME | ARTISTIC MASTERPIECES

Today, visit the Montemartini Museum, which is set in a building that used to house Rome’s first electric power station, to view a grand collection of classical statues depicting early Roman life. DAY 6 VENICE | MOUNTAIN VIEWS & WONDROUS MOSAICS

Take an express train from Florence to Venice, crossing the Appennines to the valley of the Po, and continue onward to Venice. Upon arrival, take a water taxi along the Grand Canal and board a gondola for a quintessential Venetian experience. After lunch, visit St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica, and the Doge’s Palace. Check in to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 7 VENICE | DESIGN YOUR DAY

Today, you have the opportunity to choose from one of three activities as part of the Design Your Day program:

  • Visit one of the city’s last Gondola Workshops to learn about the traditional boat-building craft.
  • Marvel at the Textile Weavers of Tessitura Bevilacqua and take a walking tour of Venice’s historic Jewish ghetto.

After your chosen activity, you will have free time in the afternoon to relax or explore the city further. Tonight, you can enjoy a Scenic Sundowner with a view of the Venetian Lagoon, setting the mood for your farewell dinner.
