Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative holding a sign of Ramasside Tours. Subsequently, you will be chauffeured to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy an overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Exploring the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, commence your day by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to a rare collection spanning 5000 years of art—the largest and most precious compilation of Egyptian art globally. The museum proudly displays over 250,000 genuine artifacts, including a dedicated exhibit showcasing the treasures, gold, and jewelry from Tutankhamen’s tomb, discovered in the 1920s after being sealed for over 3,500 years.
Later in the day, explore the Great Pyramids—Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. The colossal Cheops Pyramid is a standout architectural marvel. Get a close-up view of the Sphinx, guarding a monumental funeral complex with the legendary lion body and the face of King Chephren. Conclude the day with a transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3: Tour of Alexandria
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for a journey to Alexandria. Begin the tour at the Library of Alexandria, the world’s largest library with 8 million books. Explore its open court and free museums. Note that the library is closed on Fridays and public holidays, and an extra ticket is required for access to the reading area.
Next, visit the site of the Lighthouse, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, now occupied by the Qaitbey Castle. Tour the royal gardens of King Farouk, including the palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, as well as the royal beaches. Continue with visits to the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria, and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Optional lunch can be arranged before visiting the Church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Drive along the Cornish (30 km) for a panoramic view of Alexandria’s cityscape from the seaside, including the old harbor with 7000 underwater monuments. Stop at the famous Stanley Bridge and explore the old downtown built by Alexander the Great. Return comfortably to your hotel in Cairo.
