Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our dedicated representative, identifiable by the Ramasside Tours sign, will be awaiting your arrival. Subsequently, you will be chauffeured in an air-conditioned vehicle to your designated hotel. The night will be spent in Cairo.

Day 2: Visit the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

Following breakfast, embark on a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum houses an extraordinary collection spanning 5000 years, representing the world’s largest and most valuable assemblage of Egyptian art. The exhibition comprises over 250,000 authentic artifacts, including a dedicated showcase featuring the treasures, gold, and jewelry from Tutankhamen’s tomb, preserved for over 3,500 years until its excavation in the 1920s.

Explore the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, with a special focus on the colossal Cheops. Conclude the day with a close encounter with the Sphinx, a monumental funeral complex guarded by the iconic lion body with the countenance of King Chephren. Optionally, partake in an evening Nile cruise lasting 2 hours, featuring Egyptian folk shows. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria Tour

Begin the day with breakfast, followed by a journey to Alexandria, where our knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up from your hotel. The itinerary includes a visit to the renowned Library of Alexandria, the world’s largest library boasting 8 million books. Explore its open court and complimentary museums. Note: The library is closed on Fridays and public holidays, and an additional ticket is required for access to the reading area.

Continue the tour with a visit to the site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, now home to the Qaitbey Castle. Explore the royal gardens of King Farouk, the mosques of Abbo Elabbas and the Unknown Soldier memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great. Optionally, enjoy lunch before visiting the oldest church in Africa, the Church of St. Mark. Take a scenic drive along the Cornish (30 km) to appreciate Alexandria from the seaside. Day 4: A Trip to Remember

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will facilitate your transfer to the airport, providing assistance with the final departure formalities.
